Throughout her travels, Yvette would show up in different places in the world arriving at the right time to help women and men heal. She found herself holding space for women that needed support on many levels. Rather it was cooking her delicious healing cuisine, surrounding the house with flowers and aromatherapy, or making you laugh until your stomach stretches. Yvette provides everything that is needed to create a safe and healing space for women and couples. Yvette Summers is an international world traveler, author, percussionist, dancer, and vocalist who has worked with Grammy Award-winning artists Herbie Hancock, Bill Summers, George Clinton, and Los Hombres Calientes. Summers collaborates with Luis Eric Gonzalez and recorded an album Live at the Jazz Bakery. The diverse sounds of Cuba, Africa, Brazil, Jazz, and Funk are brought together in one electrifying, lyrical flow. She was immediately astounded by the beautiful people and rich culture from the moment she set foot in South Africa. Having settled in Johannesburg, she frequently visits the city’s orphanages and primary schools, inspiring children to stand tall and smile proudly.

Yvette has produced several shows a fundraiser event for Hugh Masekela Heritage Foundation along with Legend Ringo Madlingozi with music, dance, and Yvette’s photo exhibition of smiles of South Africa’s Legends, as well as a show in conjunction with the Soweto International Jazz Festival called a Taste of New Orleans Cuisine and Music with International Artists. At the beginning of 2020, Yvette was extremely excited because she was about to see one of her visions become a reality. She had two South African government partners and had just met with the US Embassy to bring her vision to life. Two weeks later everyone in the world was locked down.

During the quarantine, she stepped into the unknown and discovered she enjoyed cooking. As a vegan, she realized there are so many flavors she never tried before and found a passion in discovering new cuisines that were not only delicious but were healthy as well and she wanted to share this with the world. Now she has her cooking show Shaking It Up with Yvette Summers on Tasteontv.com where she travels the world sharing food, music, and culture. In 2020 Yvette produced a podcast called Living an Organic & Orgasmic Life. She interviews artists and entrepreneurs that will inspire and empower you.
